It is an excellent option to replace R-22, as it works in a similar way to 22 and can be used for retrofitting existing air conditioning equipment.
APPLICATION
R-407C can also be used to replace R-502 in medium temperature applications with evaporating temperatures above 20°F (-7°C). The most common uses for R-407C are in residential or commercial air conditioners, heat pumps, and existing medium temperature applications. Genetron® 407C uses Polyolester as a lubricant.
