Formation Water Clarifying Flocculant is an aqueous emulsion of a medium molecular weight, high loading acrylic polymer. It can be used in a variety of separation processes.
APPLICATION
Formation Water Clarifying Flocculant can be used to treat produced water and wastewater produced by a wide variety of oil industry operations. It works by reducing or neutralizing surface charges on oil droplets or solid particles so that they can enlarge and come into closer contact to coalesce or agglomerate.
Formation Water Clarifying Flocculant can be used alone or in conjunction with an organic or inorganic coagulant of different molecular weight. It can be effectively used in a wide range of liquid-solid separation processes such as sedimentation, thickening, filtration and dissolved air flotation.
