The ASPHALTENE INHIBITOR product is a solvent-based product designed to remove and control asphaltene and paraffin deposits associated with oil and gas production.
APPLICATION
The ASPHALTENE INHIBITOR product can be applied by continuous injection into producing wells, flow lines and pipelines or in batches for cleaning lines and tanks.
ASPHALTENE INHIBITOR penetrates paraffin and/or asphaltenes and other petroleum-impregnated solids and removes them throughout the system.
Penetration effectively improves the solubility of paraffin and/or asphaltenes in the hydrocarbon stream. In applications where asphaltene and paraffin deposits have already formed, ASPHALTENE INHIBITOR acts as a solvent.
Asphaltenes and paraffins have the property of expanding when they return to their liquid state, which causes an increase in volume and, consequently, an increase in API density. By dissolving and removing asphaltene and paraffin deposits, the pumping speed is increased and the pour point is reduced.
